General Information :

The Assembly of God Church Teachers' Training Junior College - D.El.Ed (Medium of instruction ENGLISH) was founded by Rev. (Dr) Mark BuntainRev. (Dr) Mark Buntain in January 1988 and set up in the Buntain Education Centre, 125/1, Park Street, Kolkata - 700 017. It is an English medium co-educational institution. It is affiliated to the Directorate of School Education (Anglo-Indian Schools), West Bengal and is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (A statutory Body of the Government of India.)

Mission

The Assembly of God Church Teachers’ Training Junior College seeks to equip young men and women as pre-primary and primary school teachers to enable every child entrusted to their care to reach their full potential as image-bearers of our Creator-God and responsible nation-builders.

Objectives

The Assembly of God Church Teachers’ Training Junior College strives to provide every student with a well-rounded education that includes:

  3. Inculcating social awareness and civic responsibility
  4. Shaping of essential life-skills
  5. Development of a healthy lifestyle

Infrastructural and Instructional facilities :

The Assembly of God Church Schools consist of The National Institute of Open Schooling, the Vocational School and the Teachers' Training Junior College is managed by the Assembly of God Church.. The facilities of playground, gymnasium, multipurpose hall, laboratory, (Science, Computer), library Principal's room & office room, Music room, Art room are shared.

In addition to it the TTC department has library, psychology laboratory, classrooms, faculty room.

Management :

The institution is managed by Society (The Assembly of God Church registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961)
